Samsung Pay® and Masterpass™ now available!
Store your HPCU debit and credit cards on your mobile devices. Instead of using your physical card to make purchases, you can pay securely with your Apple or Android phone, tablet or watch at participating in-store and online merchants and within apps.
Your physical card number isn’t shared with merchants when you use Apple Pay, Google Pay (formerly Android Pay™), Samsung Pay and Masterpass. A unique device account number is used to process the payment so your receipts will display the last four digits of your device account number, not your card number.

Apple Pay®
Follow these simple steps to setup your Apple Pay:1
- Choose card: Choose any or all of our HPCU cards. Don't have a HPCU credit card? Apply now.
- Add to wallet: Open the Wallet app and tap "Add Credit or Debit Card". Then follow the onscreen instructions. If prompted, call 844.646.5465 to complete setup.2
- Touch to pay: Hold your iPhone near the contactless reader with your finger on Touch ID. Or you can double-click the Home button when locked to access Wallet.
Change your default card: After adding your HPCU card, make sure to change it to your default.
- Go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay.
- Tap "Default Card".
- Choose your HPCU card.

Google Pay®
Follow these simple steps to setup your Google Pay:1
- Choose card: Choose any or all of our HPCU cards. Don't have a HPCU credit card? Apply now.
- Add to App: Download the Google Pay app and tap the "+" sign in the app. Follow the instructions to add your card manually or with the camera. If prompted, call 844.646.5465 to complete setup.2
- Tap to pay: Unlock your phone and hold near the contactless terminal at any location that accepts Google Pay.
Change your default card: After adding your HPCU card, make sure to change it to your default.
- Open the Google Pay app.
- Double tap your HPCU card.
- Touch "Set as default card".

Samsung Pay®
Follow these simple steps to setup your Samsung Pay:1
- Choose card: Choose any or all of our HPCU cards. Don't have a HPCU credit card? Apply now.
- Add to app: Open the Samsung Pay app and touch "ADD". Using the phone's camera, scan your card, and then secure it with your fingerprint and a backup PIN number. If prompted, call 844.646.5465 to complete setup.2
- Touch to pay: Swipe up on your screen to launch at checkout. Hold your phone near a terminal and authorize your transaction with your fingerprint.
There is no default card: You don't have the ability to set a default card in Samsung Pay. The last card used or viewed would be the card defaulted for payment. You can swipe left and right to scroll through your payment cards and select the one you want to use for payment.

Masterpass™
Follow these simple steps to setup your Masterpass:1
- Choose card: Choose any or all of our HPCU cards. Don't have a HPCU credit card? Apply now.
- Add to App: Download the Masterpass app and tap the "+" sign in the app. Follow the instructions to add your card manually or with the camera. Or, click here to go to the Masterpass home page and click "Sign up".
- Tap to pay: Unlock your phone. Click "Tap & Pay" on the app and hold near the contactless terminal at any location that accepts Masterpass. If you shopping online, click or tap the Masterpass button at checkout.
Change your default card: After adding your HPCU card, make sure to change it to your default.
- Open the Masterpass app.
- Click the menu button > Cards.
- Swipe to scroll through your payment cards and click "Make Default Card" on the one you want to use for payment.
