Shared Branching
Houston Police Credit Union participates in the CO-OP Shared Branching network, which allows HPCU members1 to conduct transactions at nearly 5,000+ participating credit unions across the United States.
The CO-OP Shared Branch Network makes it easy and convenient for members to access their accounts, whether you are traveling or live far from an HPCU location.
Standard Transactions Include:
- Deposits
- Withdrawals (number and dollar amounts may be limited)
- Balance inquiries
- Loan payments
- Transfers
- Print out of the last 10 account transactions

To Conduct A Transaction At A Shared Branch, You Will Need:
- A valid photo ID (state-issued driver’s license, state-issued ID, passport or military ID)
- Your account number
- Your credit union’s name (Houston Police Credit Union)

Can I use my current VISA Debit card? Yes, you can use your current card to gain Allpoint fee-free access at 55,000 ATM locations worldwide. No additional sign-up or action is required.
I went to a retailer listed but the ATM looked like it was owned by another financial institution. Will that financial institution charge me for using the machine? No, all ATMs listed on the Allpoint locator are part of the network and are fee-free for HPCU VISA Debit cardholders. Many Allpoint ATMs may look like they're operated by other banks or credit unions. Just look for the Allpoint logo on the ATM to confirm it's fee free.
The fee screen appeared when I attempted a transaction. Will I get charged a fee? No, the fee screen is there to notify members of other institutions who are not participating in the Allpoint ATM Network. Just press "Yes" to accept the fee and continue with your transaction. HPCU VISA Debit cardholders won't be charged.
I used a location on the locator but was still assessed a fee. Can I be reimbursed? Yes, contact HPCU as soon as possible to report the fee being assessed. We'll complete and submit a fee refund form to the Allpoint ATM Network for research into the transaction and to verify the fee. We'll need information from you in order for us to complete the form.
