We're looking for active HPCU Members who are interested in joining our volunteer team as a member of a Houston Police Credit Union committee or the board of directors. Volunteering to serve on a committee or the board of directors can be an extremely rewarding experience. Not only will you gain valuable knowledge, but you will also be representing the entire membership and be in a position to help all HPCU members realize their financial goals and dreams.
Credit unions are not-for-profit corporations that are owned and operated by their members. Together, the committees and board of directors oversee the credit union’s objectives and long-term goals. As a credit union volunteer, you have the ability to help HPCU and its members build a strong financial future.
Nominations for the vacancies may also be made by a petition signed by a minimum of 1% of the membership of the eligible voting members of the credit union. If there is more than one nominee per open position an election by email and mail ballot will be held. However, the election will not be conducted and there will be no nominations from the floor when there is only one nominee for each position. All nominations by petition must be sent to Houston Police Credit Union to the attention of Savanna Perkola via registered or certified mail and received no later than Tuesday, December 30, 2025.
An official petition form and candidate resume form may be obtained here.
