You will need the following information to complete the application:

• Your complete physical and mailing address
• An active email address not used by another member.
• Social Security Number
• Date of Birth

We may require a valid ID when further verification is necessary.

Membership Eligibility

It's easy to become a member of HPCU. With a minimum $5 opening deposit, you can join the credit union and take advantage of all the products and services we offer.

Who can join?

• Active or retired Law Enforcement Officers within the Houston Metropolitan Statistical Area
• Active or retired Law Enforcement civilian employees within the Houston Metropolitan Statistical Area
• Surviving spouses of deceased Law Enforcement Officers or civilian employees within the Houston Metropolitan Statistical Area
• Family members of the above, including:
  • Spouse
  • Children (includes daughter- and son-in-law)
  • Siblings
  • Parents (includes mother- and father-in-law)
  • Grandparents
  • Grandchildren
  • Great grandchildren
  • Any legal dependent of the primary member or the primary member's spouse

The Houston Metropolitan Statistical Area consists of Harris, Galveston, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Waller, Chambers, Liberty, Austin, San Jacinto, and Brazoria Counties.
