Go to Deposit Check at the bottom navigation of your screen
After reading About Deposit Check, click Done at the top right of your screen
Sign the back of your check and write "For Mobile Deposit at HPCU Only" below your signature4
Enter your check amount, choose which account you want to deposit to by clicking Depositing to... and then click Scan Check
Take a picture of the back and front when prompted
Verify that it’s correct, then tap Submit

Keep the phone steady so the image is in focus
Place your check against a non-reflective, dark surface

Important Note: For accounts with multiple checking, savings, or loans, you must enter a 4-digit ID number when choosing your account type. For example, your 130 checking account MUST be entered as 0130.

Will this service be available to members at specific times?
Yes, while members can text us at any time, HPCU’s reply window is only available to members during regular business hours:
Monday – Friday: 8am – 5pm CST
Saturday: 9am – 1pm CST
Do members have to agree to receive texts?
No, not for the informational use cases we will be initially working with. Members will have the ability to opt-out during the initial text exchange to be able to communicate with us via text, if they opt-out, they will have to contact us through our other channels. In addition, they will no longer be contacted via text from that number.
Note: Each phone line will require opting-out separately as each will be used for a different intended purpose.
Should a member want to opt out of ALL texting, they can text/reply “STOP ALL” and this will opt them out of all credit union texting permanently
Do we have specific phone numbers depending on what the member is inquiring about?
Yes, the numbers below are for specific departments/requests:

3 Deposit items received before 3:00pm CST on a business day, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, will be processed the same day. Deposit items received after 3:00pm CST on a business day, Monday through Friday, or on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, will be processed the next business day. HPCU does not charge a fee to enroll in or access mobile deposit or mobile banking. However, text message charges and/or mobile internet data charges may apply and are the responsibility of the user while accessing the service. Contact your mobile service provider for details.
4 Mobile deposits made without the endorsement "For Mobile Deposit at HPCU Only" may not be accepted for deposit.
5 Service is complimentary and available at our Memorial and Willowbrook branches for members with a personal account. Service is subject to a fee and/or charge for business accounts. Please see our Fee Schedule for a current list of fees and charges.
